After lunch, visit the colonial sites of Yucatan and the former convent of San Bernardino de Siena in the town of Valladolid.

Chichen Itza Express (1/2 day)
Visit the famous archeological site of Chichen Itza, the most remarkable Precolumbian site in the Yucatan peninsula. Its architecture tells the story of the occupation of the Prehispanic Mayan and Toltec civilisations, with such magnificent examples as the astonishing Kukulkan pyramid, the largest Central American ball game pitch in the world, and the astronomical observatory, In 1988, Chichen Itza was ranked a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and in 2007 it became one of the 7 new Wonders of the Modern World.
Coba and Cenote (1 day)

This mountain bike ride will take you through the jungle on the path of the ancient Mayan routes. You'll visit Coba and the Nohoch Mul Pyramid, the highest on the Yucatan Peninsula (42 m /135 ft high). After lunch you'll explore one of the most spectacular Cenotes (freshwater cave) of the Mayan Riviera, and swim in a natural decor of stalactites and stalagmites.

Ek'Balam and Ria Lagartos (1 day)

Venture off the beaten track to discover one of the little-known treasures of Yucatan - the site of Ek Balam, recently opened to the public - one of the most impressive and massive monuments of Mayan culture. Admire the magnificent view from the top of its "Acropolis". Stop for refreshments in a local town, followed by a boat ride through the Ria Lagartos biosphere reserve, the only habitat of the North American flamingo. A magnificent opportunity to discover the wealth of the local fauna and flora, including a Natural Spa! Delicious lunch in the reserve's picturesque fishing village.

Horseride (1/2 day)
Guided by experienced horsemen, a pleasant ride through the countryside will take you through some of the remaining haciendas, an important feature of the local culture. You'll be served a Mexican snack at the end of your ride.
Isla Mujeres Discovery (1 day)
Departure from Club Med. This boat trip will take you to the Caribbean island of Isla Mujeres (island of women).
Tour the island in a golf buggy and learn about the island's history and natural environment. Free time to wander in the lively streets of the town centre. Round off the visit with a swim. Lunch in a seaside restaurant, included in the price.

Playa del Carmen (1/2 day)
Spend an afternoon strolling around this pleasant sea resort on the Mayan Riviera. Speedboat on the lagoon (1/2 day)
Guaranteed fun for the whole family or with friends. You'll sail in your own little boat on the Cancun lagoon, between mangroves and panoramic views of the town. Departure by boat from the Club Med Resort (maximum 4 people per boat).

Tulum (1/2 day)
Recommended by the Discovery Centre.
Visit the only fortified Mayan site located directly on the coast: the archeological site of Tulum is perched on a cliff above the Caribbean Sea. Time for a swim from the beach at the foot of the site before the bus takes you back to the Club for lunch.

Wet'n Wild Park (1/2 day)

Xcaret Park (1 day)
Xcaret is an amusement park where you can enjoy a host of activites: explore the underground river, visit the sea turtle sanctuary, the aquarium or the butterfly pavillion.
