In this idyllic Resort for sport-loving families, Jean-Philippe Nuel has breathed a new contemporary spirit into the Resort's modern architecture. The Deluxe Bungalows in the pine forest have a magnificent sea view; adorned with wood and sandstone, they provide a comfortable environment for parents and children.
The traditional Greek blue and white have been enhanced with a dash of vivid tones, to perfect the Resort's new summer ambience.
Parks and Gardens
The grounds are populated with olive trees and a natural pinewood of nearly 3,000 Mediterranean pines. An adjustable lighting system enhances this superb landscape.

Following the fire that destroyed 7 hectares of pine forest surrounding the Gegolimano Resort in October 2009, the Club Med is committed to:
- helping restore the local ecosystem as well and as fast as possible, by planting 1,200 trees (20 different species), selected in function of the local soil and climate; one of the first results has been the reappearnace of anenomes and orichids previously stifled by the overgrowth in the maquis.
- contributing to the local economy and employment, by opening the Club Med Resort earlier than planned, in April 2010.
Beach
This is a public beach of fine sand which stretches for 2 kms (1.25 miles). One part is flanked by bungalows and the other runs alongside a pine forest where you can cool down at the beach bar. The sea is crystal clear and the coast is peppered with a few rocks. Defined bathing area. The beach is equipped with showers, deckchairs and parasols.

During my holiday last summer, I was mesmerised by our excursion* to the Meteores**. These monasteries built by hermits are quite simply amazing - to settle on rocky outcrops sometimes more than 300 metres high, using just ladders and hoists, during the 11th century - well, I take my hat off to them!
