Etna and Taormina (1 day)
Discover two extraordinary sites: walk on Mount Etna, the highest volcano in Europe, with a mountain guide (no experience or skills required). Typical lunch, before heading for Taormina, "the Sicilian St Tropez", with its spectacular ancient theatre, a "balcony looking onto Etna". Mini circuit of the South-East: Syracusa-Etna-Taormina (2 days)
Discover the wonderful Italian city of Syracusa, off the beaten track.

After visiting the city, you'll head for Etna. Dinner and overnight stay in a hotel on Etna at 2,000 metres (6,560 ft). Next morning, you'll climb the highest volcano in Europe at 3,330 m (10,925 ft). Lunch at Taormina then visit to the ancient theatre and wander through the streets of "the Sicilian Saint-Tropez".
