Mauritius is a great destination for big game fishing. You'll find species such as the blue or black spearfish, shark, basking shark, barracuda, bécune (type of shark) and bonito. The west coast currents bring the fish up, making the waters around the island ideal for fishing. Expedition that combines sport with luck and adventure, in comfortable boats equipped to comply with IGFA standards.
This real Luxury Day begins with a ride out on a speedboat to Blue Bay Marine Park. You'll spend time on l'Ile au Phare where you can do some snorkelling (equipment on loan), and admire the beauty of Eau Bleue. Tide permitting, you can stop over on the Ile aux Flamands, before visitng the Grand Sud Est waterfall. Lunch on l'Ile aux Cerfs, where you'll have time to swim or stroll, before diving in the blue waters of Trou Mouton. The day ends at l'Ile aux Aigrettes, where you can enjoy the spectacle of the sun setting behind the mountains.
After sailing on the lagoon on the south-east coast, discover the Ile de la Passe and the Ile au Phare.
Dive in the blue waters at Trou Mouton, with its intriguing underwater life and fabulous variety of fish, a foretaste of the wonderful Blue Bay Marine Park, one of the finest marine parks in the world. After diving, you'll be treated to a lunch of grilled crayfish, chicken, fish and salads.

Travel up-river to admire the Grande Rivière Sud-est waterfalls; a private catamaran will take you to the Ile aux Cerfs (Deer Island), where you can snorkel in the lagoon at Eau Bleue and admire the fabulous colours of the water. Lunch on board (seafood, chicken and fish kebabs and grilled crayfish), serenaded by local musicians. Enjoy free time to walk or swim on the Ile aux Cerfs.

Discover the west coast, with swimming and snorkelling; laze in the sun after a crayfish lunch on board. You may be lucky enough to spot the dolphins in Tamarin Bay during this unforettable trip!

Once you get to La Pointe aux Canonniers Club Med, you'll embark on a sumptuous catamarn for L'Ile Plate (The Governor's House), a totally protected island a few nautical miles north of Mauritius. The island is not far from L'Ilot Gabriel, separated by around 200 yards of lagoon. L'Ile Plate is an extremely tranquil and little-known spot where you'll spend an extraordinary day, which includes lunch in an intimate, highly exclusive, small gastronomic restaurant, housed within an ancient monument that is part of national heritage, in the middle of unspoilt nature just 100 yards from a fabulous beach. A day dedicated totally to relaxation and swimming in the wonderful turquoise blue waters of the lagoon, among shoals of exotic fish.

Discover the island of Mauritius at your own pace, with friends or family, in an air-conditioned minibus with driver.
Visit the Pamplemousse Botanical Gardens with their hundred-year-old trees and rare plant species, before returning to stroll through the streets of Port Louis and enjoy the colourful local market.
A pleasant boat trip along the coast. Discover the covered market in Port Louis and the Caudan shopping mall on the sea front.

Ride a 400 cc quad-bike through the Yemen reserve, with its deer, zebras and ostriches, and enjoy breathtaking views over the Indian Ocean and the surrounding sugar plantations.
The circuit respects the reserve's environmental regulations and standards. Can be proposed with buggy or segway in place of the quad.
Not recommended for people with back problems or expectant mothers.
To satisfy your curiosity and discover the most unusual and little-known sites (focus on culture, architecture, eco-tourism, etc), hire a yacht or private car with chauffeur; enjoy a helicopter flight or sunset cruise. Depending on the season, you can watch horse racing.
