As a preventive measure against bird flu, you are advised to avoid bird markets and zoos.

Dispensary (Sinai Bay) : At Taba Heights, 5 minutes from Club Med, the dispensary has a few hospital beds. For serious cases, there are hospitals at Eilat-Israel, 20 minutes away (but the border formalities take around 1 hour), at Sharm el-Sheikh 3 hours drive away or via Cairo by flying ambulance.
