Cherating Beach Malaysia

Check in was very smooth but we got a hard time finding our rooms on our own. A maze CM Cherating !! Except for this everything was PERFECT !! Room was dated but clean, sleep quality good. Nested in a jungle, the view was impeccable. Food was excellence. Definitely will go again. Special thanks to Zol and Sopie from circus team, Many many thanks to Sashi, Frank, Shawn, Anam, Charo, Angela, Zol, Sopie, Jadd, Rebekah, Maxim, Jade, Zoey, Marilyn, Indra, Neo, Fanta who made our trip so memorable. Value for money!!!! Thinking for our next trip there in March 2026.

We had a fabulous weather and enjoyed all the activities outdoor. We picked up new skills. The food is wide spread and free flow of drinks. Things that can be improved is the mixture of drink is not consistent. The people are super super friendly and accommodating. Their team is very family orientated. Will definitely recommend for families to come over.

Amazing Days – A Trip I’ll Never Forget

I recently spent eight wonderful days at Club Med Cherating Beach, and it truly was the perfect getaway for rest, relaxation, adventure, and connection. The resort is surrounded by lush nature, peaceful pathways, and a breathtaking beach that feels like something out of a dream. From the moment I arrived, I felt a sense of calm and comfort settle over me. Every detail of my stay felt thoughtful, every moment felt meaningful, and every interaction added to the magic.

The spa quickly became one of my favourite places on the resort. From the warm, welcoming smile you’re greeted with at the door to the incredible treatments that leave your whole body floating, it’s the kind of sanctuary you instantly fall in love with. I left every session feeling rejuvenated, calm, and completely reset. The food throughout the resort was another highlight—so much variety, so much flavour, and everything absolutely delicious. And the boutique… let’s just say it’s impossible to walk in without buying something! The friendly faces and patient staff make the experience fun and dangerously tempting in the best way.

But without a doubt, the staff were the heart of this trip. They made my stay unforgettable and added so much warmth, laughter, and joy to each day.

Mario, the Chief of Sports, was one of the biggest highlights. His energy and passion for what he does are unmatched. He has this incredible way of making every single guest feel comfortable, included, and excited—whether you’re sporty or not. He was always willing to be my partner in the adventurous activities when I didn’t have one, and our canoeing experience still makes me laugh every time I think about it. I genuinely laughed until my stomach hurt. His humour, authenticity, and presence at mealtimes brought a spark to every day.

Julieta, the E-GO, quickly became someone very special to me during this trip. Always cheerful, always attentive, and always willing to help with anything—from taking photos to sharing recommendations to simply keeping me company. She became my personal camera woman, helping me capture some of my favourite memories. She joined me on nature walks and showed me places I wouldn’t have found on my own. Her warmth and her gentle way of making you feel seen and cared for made me feel completely at home. Both Mario and Julieta made lunches and dinners more fun, more relaxed, and more filled with laughter. This place is magic, and they are a huge part of why.

Nic, who turned my first-ever sailing experience into something unforgettable. Friendly, witty, and full of charm—he had me laughing non-stop. Some experiences live in your heart forever, and this was one of them.

Jade, who made my birthday evening one of the best nights I’ve had. He got me out of my comfort zone, cheering me on, pulling me into the fun, and getting me dancing until my feet hurt. His energy is contagious and his kindness shines through everything he does.

Rejab, who made every excursion feel personalised and memorable. He took his role as cameraman very seriously, and thanks to him, we captured some of the most beautiful moments of the trip.

Kevin, who made sure our rooms were always spotless and comfortable. His dance moves and sense of humour kept the evenings alive. I laughed so much thanks to him that I honestly had stomach cramps!

Dee and Betty, whose warm smiles brightened every single day. They made sure we always had what we needed and genuinely cared about how we were enjoying our stay. Their friendliness became something I looked forward to daily.

Judd, one of the nicest and most down-to-earth people I met. Thank you for the great conversations and for always keeping us company at the bar. You added so much to the vibe.

And of course, a special and heartfelt thank you to CDV Clayton. He leads with kindness, presence, and genuine care. This place is magic—and so much of that magic comes from the culture he creates. He treats guests and staff alike, and that warmth shines through in every activity, every meal, and every small interaction. You can truly feel the heart of the resort through him and the team he inspires.

This trip wasn’t just a holiday for me—it was something deeply personal. I celebrated my 40th birthday here, and I honestly cannot imagine a better way to welcome a new decade. I felt celebrated, supported, seen, and surrounded by people who made the week feel special in ways I didn’t expect. It was the best way I could have turned 40—filled with laughter, adventure, connection, and moments I will hold onto forever.

I left Cherating feeling refreshed, grateful, full of joy, and already dreaming of coming back. Club Med Cherating Beach is more than just a resort—it’s a place where you can truly disconnect, recharge, and create memories that stay with you long after you’ve gone. An unforgettable experience in every way.

Amazing holidays in Cherating! The village is wonderfully relaxing, surrounded by lush jungle — perfect for a peaceful getaway with family or friends. The rooms are comfortable, the facilities high-quality, the food excellent, the sports complex extremely well equipped, and the beach and pools offer pure relaxation. The entertainment program was also a huge highlight.

A huge thank you to Gauthier, the interim CDV, who was incredibly present and managed the village masterfully! And of course, the village wouldn’t be the same without its fantastic GO team — full of energy, personality, and warmth.

Big shoutout to the amazing animation team (Jade, Jadd, Franky, Novan, and Maxime) that I felt very close to, the superb circus team (Elaine, Bobby, Zul, Kat, and my duo partner Sopie), the energetic sports team (Mario, Khuzy, and the wonderful Shuru), and all the other services I may be forgetting — Iwe, Job, Charo, Cleo, Lea, Iqa, Grace, and Temy!

Club Med Cherating was a blast ! Had the best time possible at the resort. The rooms, the pools, the bars, all the infrastructures were awesome !
And of course the GOs, were, as always, kind and welcoming ! Special thanks to Shuru 🇲🇻, Khouzy 🇿🇲, Jadd 🇿🇦, Jade 🇿🇦, Mario 🇲🇽, Cleo 🇲🇾, Charo 🇲🇾, Léa 🇫🇷 & the GOAT of LEM Gauthier 🇫🇷, who’s been CDV for a week and handled it perfectly !
