Kani Maldives

We recently stayed in the Maldives and overall had a beautiful and relaxing experience, particularly if you are looking for stunning scenery and peaceful surroundings. The island itself is breathtaking, with crystal-clear water, pristine beaches, and a truly tranquil atmosphere. The overwater accommodation was a standout, offering privacy, comfort, and incredible views—perfect if you want to unwind away from the main resort.

There were also some wonderful staff who made a difference to our stay. Nyaz, who looked after our room, was consistently polite and did an excellent job. Ameel in the buffet was attentive and remembered our preferences each day, which added a lovely personal touch. Ripon at the bar was always friendly and a pleasure to interact with.

That said, there are a few things future travellers should be aware of. The resort app did not function properly during our stay and continuously showed our room as “not ready,” which meant we couldn’t access some of the Exclusive Collection features. Room service was not as seamless as expected and had to be arranged via WhatsApp, with one order unfortunately missed. We also found it difficult not being able to request specific housekeeping times.

Another surprise was that smoking and vaping were permitted in shared areas, including dining spaces, which may not suit all guests. Additionally, while the resort promotes environmental awareness, seeing cats on the island hunting local wildlife felt inconsistent with that message.

In summary, this resort is ideal if you are seeking natural beauty, relaxation, and stunning overwater accommodation. However, for a premium experience, there are some service and operational improvements needed to fully match expectations.

Very helpful and made our trip enjoyable.

Every moment of my trip to kani was beautiful but the defining factor was the attentive and amazing staff, to be specific our favourite bar tenders Ashley and Kim, kind receptionists Jantt, Alex and a tall blonde polish man, lastly the super surfer American running the water sports area who is soon getting married
Each of them made our time more enjoyable especially Ayoub who gave us ideas for activities and kept the night going a little longer becoming more then just a luxury escape island worker but valued company and friends, without a doubt highly recommend club med kani

Kani at Club Med was an amazing experience and truly unforgettable. A huge thank you to the wonderful team who made our stay so special. Cheryl, Appy, Henry, and Nanna from the circus team were incredibly patient, dedicated, and amazing to watch at White Night. Hamza and the F&B team took great care of us every day at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Kim and Umut at the bar made fantastic cocktails, always with a smile. Roman, Amadou, and Omar from the water sports team made sailing and SUP so enjoyable and Hugo gave us very handy padel tennis tips. Thank you all for your warmth, energy, and dedication, we had a fantastic holiday and hope to be back soon!

Just got back from ClubMed Kani and I would like to give a special shoutout to the trapeze team. They were easily one of the highlights of my trip.

After watching their performance, I went for a lesson the very next day, and I’m so glad I did. Even though I was in a group of complete beginners, they made us all feel safe, encouraged, and genuinely excited to give it a try.

The instructors were not only highly skilled but also incredibly patient and attentive, breaking down each movement in a way that made it approachable and fun.

What really stood out was how they balanced professionalism with pure joy. Every swing and every small improvement was celebrated, creating such a positive, uplifting atmosphere that kept me coming back again the next day. By the end of my stay, I even earned a knee hang catch certificate!

Beyond the skills, it was their personalities that made the experience unforgettable. Sharing meals together over dinner made it even more special. They were warm, engaging, and always ready with a smile.

If you’re heading to ClubMed Kani, do yourself a favor and DO NOT miss the trapeze. And to the amazing team… thank you for making such an unforgettable part of my holiday!
