Kani Exclusive Space Maldives

We enjoyed a magical trip to both Club Med Kani and Finolhu Villas. This review is for Kani.

The beach and surrounding area are stunning. We were blown away at arrival.

Kani was filled with energetic GOs and a fun-loving, upbeat atmosphere. We enjoyed a snorkeling excursion (shoutout to Nooman for his wonderful recommendations) and were delighted to swim with fish and manta rays. Sailing lessons, sunset stretching, cooking classes, badminton, table tennis, padel. So many wonderful activities to partake in.

The food was good. The Velhi has a wide variety of meal options and carefully chosen to accommodate many cultures. The Kandu is more selective but the ambience and experience there makes up for the smaller menu.

Aside from the view, our room was nothing to write home about. But with all of the beauty and activities at the resort, we did not spend much time there anyway. There was a subtle sewage smell from the toilet area that was a bit off-putting. Most importantly, our room was always clean and the A/C worked wonders.

Service from all of the staff was outstanding. We felt so special spending on honeymoon here. Many went above and beyond to congratulate and celebrate with us! A few individuals we would like to mention who provided especially excellent service: Ines, Siva, Joe, Christine, Jewel.

We would recommend Club Med Kani without hesitation!

Came back from two weeks at Club Med Kani as part of a FitBodies teaching vacation and it surpassed all my expectations. View..just like a post card. Food..amazing and always available. Accommodation..clean, spacious and functional.

But my favourite part was the daily activities. Twice a day snorkelling, yoga and fitness classes morning through to sunset. Christine is the yoga teacher/fitness coach/wellness expert on the island and made me feel like a long lost friend. She’s such a pro, if you have the chance to stay at Kani make sure you take one (or all) of her classes, it’ll brighten your day!

The holiday was made by the amazing team of GOs. Special mention to Yousri who should be the chief of the island with his energy and professionalism. Taziwa was amazing in all our dining experiences. Sharief and Ragab made our kids holiday at kids club.

We spend amazing holidays in Kani. This is an incredible spot in the Maldives.
The experience in the overwater suites is unique. Being able to swim from your room and discover the diversity of fishes was a joy for all my family. We shall never forget this view and the stunning sunsets we saw there.
For me the highlight of the holidays is Christine, the fitness instructor. She teaches not only yoga, cardio, stretching… but she also invites you to join her to swim, to run, to breathe, to party! I came back from the Maldives more relaxed and fitter thanks to Christine. She shares her positive energy with everyone joining her classes. Congrats to Christine, you’re truly inspirational.
