La Pointe aux Canonniers Mauritius

We enjoyed this resort very much as they mostly very motivated, friendly and energetic staff.
Resort itself does need a fair bit of maintenance though as the walls are cracked, faded, mould growing all over the roofs, shower walls and basin rims, broken shower heads, blocked drains, fridge not working and aircon controls faulty too but the senior staff do try very hard to delegate to the relevant department but that's where it ends.
We would return again once the resort has been given some attention to the maintenance items and most importantly if they manage to enforce the no smoking under the roof areas as this was not pleasant for us or our children unfortunately as people seemed to have no respect for the signs stating no smoking or vaping ruining it for the others that do not smoke and want to relax with a view and have a drink etc.....The fun the children had and to enjoy the rest of this resort and the activities on offer was enough to get over the room issues and would love to go again in the future to this paradise location.

Just coming off 9 nights in the resort, our family of 3 had an amazing experience with the resort catering to accommodate something for everyone, including our 3 year old.

A huge thanks to the entire petit and mini club team who were incredibly professional and dedicated to the little ones in their care. They went above and beyond, creating a safe and enjoyable space for our 3 year old.

We had a suite which was the best fit for us and we will do the same in the future. The club med staff are incredible at fostering community and group events, always with local Mauritian flavor. From snorkeling to fitness, it has something for everyone - or to do nothing at all!

There were a few minor hiccups, with staff carefully attending to them with a quick resolution.

We will definitely be coming back!

Second time visiting this resort, and really enjoyed our stay. The rooms/food/pools were good as expected but the activities were great, between the sailing/snorkeling/kayaking/waterski/swimming we had so much to do we never really felt the need to leave the resort. The large bay that is protected by the reef provides a very safe environment for the activities in the sea, there are no large waves or currents to have to worry about.

Everything was great, from our housekeeper - Sakuntala, Food and drinks. Our favorite bar tender as Fred and Jason and favorite drinks server OM.
Will definitely visit the resort again.
Jevish the resort photographer made us feel so good during our photoshoot. His kindness and patience with the children was more than we expected

The Spa was the only let down from my whole trip. Take note when you arrive as a couple directly request a couple massage in the same room otherwise they will put you in 2 different rooms and the hostess will not manage the inconvenience they will blame you as you did not say couple massage..

Our stay at Club Med La Pointe aux Canonniers was truly wonderful and full of beautiful memories. From the very beginning, we felt warmly welcomed and well cared for.

A very special thank you goes to Anita. It was such a lovely coincidence that when we arrived at the hotel, the person who welcomed us was also named Anita — just like me. It immediately made the arrival feel even more special and personal.

Throughout our stay, Anita’s help was absolutely invaluable. She is a wonderful, warm, kind and positive woman, always ready to help with a smile. Thanks to her, we felt truly comfortable and cared for during our holiday.

Anita, thank you for your kindness, your wonderful energy and for making our stay even more special. You are truly an amazing person and a great asset to Club Med.

We will remember this holiday with great pleasure and we can wholeheartedly recommend this beautiful place.
