Bintan Island Indonesia

Visited the Club Med, Bin Tan in October 2025 on a family trip with children. After a quite a waite in immigration to get in to Indonesia, we were picked up by the bus for the short ride to the resort. Check-in at the hotel was quick and smooth, and our rooms were available when we arrived, which were very nice. Rooms were big and nice, but with a bit outdated interior. Beds were good, with good sleeping quality, and bathroom with a separate toilet worked fine. The resort has a kids splash pool, two large pools and is situated right next to the beach. The resort has a wide range of activities, from snorkling through trapez to kids club and so on.
There is a lot to do for all ages, the resort is almost a kids paradise. The hotel serve a wide range of food choices, lots of seafood, but also many choices if you are not into the seafood, there is a special childrens buffet, with popular dishes for children. We also managed to play a round of golf on the Ria Bin Tan golf course, which is highly recommendable if you are a golfer. So all in all we had a very pleasant long weekend at the Club Med Bin Tan resort, and we can recommend the resort, especially if you travel with children.

We had an excellent time in club med med bintan! although the room was a bit dated and there was some construction noise, everything else was wonderful. The food variety was amazing, there were so many activities to enjoy,and the night shows and parties were fantastic. Most of all the staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming.

Our 1st Club Med experience and what a treat. Amazing right from the start.

Some resorts do it well, Club Med connects exceptionally well. It's no wonder when you come to a Club Med, it's the experience that seals it. And we can now vouch for that.

We have been to many resorts in Bintan, they are nice, we leave as is. But when you leave from a Club Med, we left with tears and already planning for the next trip back.

The passion, effort and sweat that the entire crew puts into making the experience was undoubtedly the highlight. Rooms were clean and sufficient but a bit dated, however we spent only 10% of our time in the room.

We were there for 5 nights, and every day there were numerous activities and every night there was a different show. After the show, there is a party hosted by the entire village crew from all department and each night is a different theme. The amount of effort that goes into rehearsal, set up and down must not be ignored.

Food was also good in the buffet and all the drinks in the all inclusive is highly satisfactory too. There is also an alar carte style restaurant for later meals if you missed the buffet.

There is too much to commend but if you have been contemplating, just try it.
