Val d’Isère is a resort located on the Vanoise massif in Savoie. Formerly an isolated mountain village, Val d’Isère is presently a vast winter sports resort and is considered to be one of the best skiing resorts in France. It regularly hosts big sports competitions and is renowned for the quality and diversity of its amenities. It is about 1,800 metres high and you can do alpine skiing and cross-country skiing as well as snowshoeing, fat bike riding, snowboarding or speed riding.
Val d’Isère has 300 km of tracks and is also known for the beauty of its skiable area, which has the third largest surface area in the Alps.
