After the success of first two seasons of the popular resort-based series, tourism surged in both Sicily and Hawaii as viewers were inspired to visit the gorgeous filming locations showcased on screen. Now, Thailand is experiencing what we like to call "The White Lotus Effect," with interest in Thai destinations skyrocketing as the show spotlights the country's natural beauty and renowned hospitality.
At Club Med, we've witnessed this trend firsthand. Following the release of the season three trailer in January of this year, searches for our Phuket resort surged by an impressive 60% compared to December 2024 with bookings for 2025 already up by 27% compared to the same period last year. It's clear that Thailand has firmly secured its place on the must-visit list for travellers in 2025.
