Bintan Island Indonesia

This was a very special father–daughter trip, and Club Med Bintan made it incredibly comfortable and memorable for both of us. From the moment we arrived at the ferry terminal, the experience already began, everything was seamless, calming, and well taken care of, allowing us to relax right away.

The GOs truly made the difference. Everyone was warm, attentive, and genuinely caring, which made my daughter feel safe and at ease throughout our stay. A special thank you to Vicky, Grace, Rita, Harry, Jeevan, Matthew, Clarissa and Ruby (and also all the other GOs whom we met and part of the overall experience), they went out of their way to make our experience feel personal and special. The shared meals and conversations were especially meaningful and added a lovely human touch to our holiday.

The beach is clean, beautiful, and safe for children, which gave me great peace of mind.

The room is a little dated but it was clean and comfortable.

All in all, this was a relaxing and heartwarming trip, and we left with wonderful memories.

Friendly staff, great lessons. Overall great and fun experience. Would definitely recommend others to try it as well!

Just returned from a wonderful stay at Club Med Bintan, where the warm hospitality truly stood out.

The GO team was consistently friendly, attentive, and full of energy, making every moment feel welcoming and memorable.

Although room renovations are ongoing until December 2026, the resort remains comfortable, and the upgrades promise fresher, cleaner spaces ahead. The food selection was a highlight, with delicious variety and free-flow drinks throughout the day.

Families will love the safe, caring Mini Club GOs (Syasya, Liz, Husen, Zan, Wood, Sheeba, Fida, Dimas, Kimi, Melani, Angel, Kelvin), casual chats with all the other GOs and Chief of Village Julien’s presence added a personal touch.

Overall, a great stay and we’re already excited to see the refreshed rooms on our next visit!

It was our first Club Med holiday without the kids. And we enjoyed it! We enjoyed the freedom to mingle with the GOs and Ges, participate in fitness activities, drop by the bars for drinks whenever we felt like it, eat when we wanted to, and hang out at the bar until late! As with all Club Med vacations, our arrival at Club Med Bintan was hospitable and highly personalized and we really felt welcomed by Manager Pak Boim. We discovered that Pak Boim actually lives on Bintan! Both Pak Boim and Pak Welly (who joined us for lunch that day) made our welcome meal extremely meaningful as we chatted over the meal. We were to meet Pak Boim and Pak Welly regularly over the course of our stay. We had a fortuitous meeting with GO Grace (from PRC) and GO Vicky (from South Korea) at dinner of our first day. It was the start of many interactions over our stay with these two lovely ladies. My wife (who enjoys the flying trapeze) enjoyed her interactions with the circus team – GOs Abi, Pino, Zippy, Sandy and Bea. She also enjoyed her daily yoga with the extremely flexible yoga instructor GO Beverly. I had fun in my fitness classes being tekaned (colloquial for being whacked and pushed to the limit) by GOs Clarissa and Harry. We also had great conversations with GOs Kaja, Noor and Walter. Whilst the GOs are primarily tasked with entertaining and interacting with GMs, we also felt the warmth and hospitality from the Ges – the servers, the housekeeping staff, gardeners and maintenance staff. CDV Julien has done a great job in leading this team of amazing staff! Thank you Julien, Boim, Welly, Grace, Vicky, Abi, Pino, Zippy, Sandy, Bea, Clarissa, Harry, Kaja, Noor, Walter and all other GOs and GEs for making our visit so enjoyable! We look forward to returning soon and reconnecting with our new found friends!

Almost forgot to write this review until my 3-year-old son Asher asked to go back because he loves the G.O.s!

This was a trip of just me and my little son, so I was quite apprehensive at first that things might go wrong. How wrong I was! I had a thoroughly relaxing vacation with endless food and drinks with an amazing seaview all the time, with all sorts of programmes and entertainment to keep me occupied when I want something to do. There are shows every night, and not just your run-of-the-mill shows, but with truly talented acrobats!

But the most amazing compliment has to go to the G.O.s taking care of my son in the Petit Club Med! Shout-out to Sheeba, Syasya, Fida, Dimas, Kimi, Husen, Kelvin, Angel, Zan, Melani, Liz, Wood, and Gus! My son had so much fun with them! He went golfing, cupcake making, swimming, snail walking etc. so much so that he was having an amazing vacation of his own! You can tell the G.O.s truly love children, they are so in sync with them while being gentle to them. Syasya thought Asher how to be patient and wait in line as well, as he tends to be a very excitable and impatient kid.

Only thing that can be improved is

Truly one of the best vacation I ever had, missing it already. Best money I ever spent, and we both wish we were still back there!
