We just returned from an absolutely phenomenal three-generation stay at Club Med Phuket and we're all still smiling. The resort sits right on gorgeous Kata Beach, which made it so easy to literally walk across the street for some time on the soft sand and a refreshing dip between activities.

From the moment we arrived everything felt effortless. We had clean, spacious adjoining rooms that made the whole family feel comfortable and connected. The buffet surprised us in the best way. There was a wide and changing variety at every single meal so everyone in our group always found something they loved. The endless cocktails, mocktails, and juices by the pool were also perfectly refreshing treats in the Thailand heat.

But the G.O. (Gentil Organisateur) team absolutely stole the show! They are the heart and soul of Club Med Phuket. They were warm, multi-talented, and absolutely amazing. They quickly built rapport with my 7- and 9-year-old boys, and 18-year-old daughter making them feel welcomed through every single interaction.

As an educator, I have high standards for childcare and programming, and Mini Club Med exceeded them. The team ran a smooth, well-signposted routine so my boys could move confidently between all the activities (including but not limited to archery, flying trapeze and trampolining, swimming and water play, arts and crafts, Thai boxing, and wall climbing). I loved that they taught manners too! The children were always gently reminded to thank each activity leader after their session. Everything was planned so I could drop them off and relax or easily find them if I wanted to.

Nighttime entertainment was another highlight. The passion and energy the entire G.O. crew brought to the stage every night was incredible. They are such a vibe! The children were also regularly involved and even included on stage in the evening shows, dancing, singing, and taking part in a magic act. Seeing them perform with confidence alongside their new friends was such a special memory.

For myself, with the ease of Club Meds' structure, I finally found time for wellness with their fitness classes, yoga, and Thai boxing. A huge shoutout to Ari for pushing me in a way that actually changed how I felt by the end of the week. The fitness and Muay Thai instructor, Coach Sun, was energetic, hilarioulsy encouraging, and clearly wanted us to learn, not just go through the motions. He was hands-down our family’s funniest highlights of the trip.

What stood out most was the way every team treated their roles: instructors set expectations, encouraged progress, the dining and housekeeping staff were attentive and cheerful, and the front-desk made everything seamless. Everyone was always smiling and friendly, and the Mini Club Med G.O.s even got hugs from my children and will be sorely missed. That made the whole trip feel like more than a vacation, it felt like an experience we’ll remember for years. Highly recommend Club Med Phuket for families traveling across generations. It was hassle-free, filled with variety, and run by people who make you feel like family.

It was the absolute best family trip!

​Choosing Club Med Phuket for our vacation with our 8-year-old daughter was the best decision ever. She had an unforgettable time at the Mini Club every day with her new friends and the G.Os. We just returned to Korea today, and she’s still talking about it—saying things like, "Right now, it would be circus time at the Mini Club!" or "Now it's snack time!"

​She participated in the Mini Club activities for 4 days and loved it so much that she’s already asking to go to Club Med for our next vacation. The food was also fantastic with menu changes every single meal, and having a Korean food corner was a huge plus!

I spent 10 days in the resort with my 2 sons (2, 4 years old), husband, and his parents. The resort was fantastic. The food was top notch from a health perspective. I am a very healthy eater and they had a plethora of variety in fruits, vegetables, and types of protein.

The excursion office was awesome. We did scuba diving with Eurodivers, Takuya was friendly, kind and arranged for us to do Scuba diving in Racha with an amazing instructor. It was my first time diving and the experience was very enjoyable. I think I will seek out club meds that have affiliated diving experiences. At the clubmed excursion desk was Paul who also did Phi Phi island with us. He is the perfect club med host, kind ,friendly, and makes it feel like a personal experience.

Our 2 and 4 year old enjoyed it all. We did the elephant care excursion for them which was unforgettable to feed the elephants and watch them bath while having a meal. In the petit club the staff was incredible. They took the time to send me photos and do the cutest art work with our son. Special thanks to Vera, Salisa, Nan, Celina, Pinkie, Migo, and Gigi. They also took care of our 4 year old during his naps and let our boys hang out together.

In the miniclub, the team was so warm and fun. Great activities that our son was looking forward to doing everyday. Special thanks to Yini, Film, Add, Fatima, Manow, Vera, Zix, Ayoub, Tina. The circus experience was super fun and he relished the water park experience. He started to learn to play tennis. He had the perfect amount of physical activity that resulted into having a great night sleep every night!

At the front desk, Winnie was a superstar. She was part of the customer relations team and went out of her way to check on myself and my family. She remembered us from ClubMed Bali the prior year and made sure to get our celebrations all ready for my sons' and husband's birthday. The family team went above and beyond and left 2 spiderman backpacks to really commemorate the experience.

We will continue to stick with club med as nobody does it better for family vacations.

One thing to just mention, if you have been to other club meds, the chef de village was noticeable absent. In all 10 days, never met him. In Bali and the French Alps Club meds, the Chef De Village is notable present and greeting the guests. I dont particularly need that, but thought I would mention it, in case others are disappointed by this,

We had an amazing stay at Club Med Phuket and truly enjoyed the entire experience. The atmosphere, entertainment, and activities were all outstanding.

A very special thank you to Jina, who made our stay even more memorable. It was my girlfriend’s birthday, and she organized such a wonderful surprise for her. Her kindness, thoughtfulness, and attention to every detail made the celebration truly unforgettable.

A big congratulations to the entire team for their exceptional hospitality and hard work. Everyone made us feel so welcome, and we couldn’t have asked for a better vacation.

Fantastic Mini Club & Caring Staff

My daughters, Hannah and Abigail, both had the time of their lives here. The Mini Club was exceptionally well-run, with activities that were thoughtful, engaging, and well-designed. The staff—especially Gus, Add, Jojo, Yaya, and Migo (and everyone in the team) —were incredibly caring, fun, and attentive. Knowing the girls were in such good hands made the trip completely stress-free for us.

A special mention also goes to the resort nurse, who was extremely helpful, kind, and attentive when we needed assistance.

The G.O. team is the true engine of this resort. Their tireless effort, warmth, and fantastic energy set the tone for the entire holiday. From morning till night, they bring an incredible vibe that makes everyone feel instantly welcome.

The sports activities were top-notch, and having the fun, high-energy G.O. team actively participating and encouraging everyone elevated the whole experience into something truly memorable.

The dining experience deserves its own spotlight. The restaurant and kitchen team were brilliant throughout our stay.

The nightly shows were another major highlight. The circus team was outstanding, and the sheer passion and energy the entire crew brought to the stage every night was incredible to watch.

Overall, it was a seamless, high-energy family vacation with genuine hospitality at every turn. We left with wonderful memories and would highly recommend Club Med Phuket to any family!
