From arrival to departure our 8 night stay was magical.

The entertainment highlight was Santa arriving by parachute. A champagne tower to a backdrop of fireworks on xmas eve was magical.

"We have just returned from our first trip to a Club Med hotel. Not our last though! [...]

No one had had lessons for years, but as ESF guiding/instruction was included, naturally everyone participated. The excellent instruction was in English, mainly tips on improving technique. The big advantage was being taken all over the domain to all the best runs without having to stop to stare at piste maps. [...]

The food was stunning! So much variety and of such excellent quality. Our Vegan and our Veggie were delighted with the array of food they could confidently eat. The rest of us enjoyed all sorts, oysters, large prawns, beef carpaccio, tuna carpaccio. The raclette was a great treat especially when the kind server gave me extra crunchy bits.

The cakes and desserts were wonderful, the sort of stuff you see in French patisseries at vast expense. We expected the house wine in a French hotel to be good, and it was. [...]

It was very nice to be able to sit outside on both the bar and dining room terraces, drinking eating or both. Beautiful views, cheerful atmosphere and as our son said “if this was a restaurant on the piste it would be your favourite on the mountain.”
The extra touches, canapés in the bar before lunch and dinner, barbecues on the terrace, pancakes at teatime, were all much appreciated.

The bar staff, friendly and flexible, worked exceptionally hard to keep drinks flowing. Huge thanks to charming Carla for her ‘special’ espresso margaritas. Specially potent I think.

I had heard that Club Med is famous for its friendly staff, but was still amazed to encounter it in reality. Not a single grumpy response from any one, just smiling cheerfulness. [...]

The administration in every department was outstanding, from arrival and speedy check in, printing and delivery to the room of our boarding cards, the very prompt clearing of empty plates and glasses and the provision of breakfast at whatever ungodly hour you are leaving.
